First Class vs. Regular JR Pass

For ticket availability during Obon: the key to getting your tickets is making reservations in advance. Doing so 2-4 days in advance will secure your seating without problem. Green Class does not give a better chance for seating but is a great option if you wish to travel in more comfort and quiet.
