Hi there, I would like to ask which JR Passes are suitable and pay off compared to using ordinary trains. Below is the travel itinerary. We are 3 adults and will arrive Sapporo on 21 February 2025.
Any passes to use for :
1. Hokkaido (Day 2 to Day 5)
2. Tokyo (Day 6 to Day 9)
3. Tokyo/Nagano/Kanazawa/Kyoto/Osaka (Day 10 to Day 16)
Day 1 - Fly into Haneda (by ANA)
Day 2 - Transit from Haneda to CTS and travel to Noboribetsu
Day 3 - Travel from Noboribetsu to Otaru
Day 4 - Travel from Otaru to Sapporo
Day 5 - Sapporo (full day exploration)
Day 6- Travel from Sapporo to Tokyo (domestic flight)
Day 7 - Tokyo (Kawazu day trip from Klook)
Day 8 - Tokyo (Fuji day trip from Klook)
Day 9 - Tokyo (full day exploration)
Day 10 - Travel from Tokyo to Nagano
Day 11 - Nagano (full day) (Snow Monkey from Klook)
Day 12 - Travel from Nagano to Takayama and night stay in Kanazawa
Day 13 - Kanazawa (full day) (visit Shirakawago)
Day 14 - Travel from Kanazawa to Kyoto
Day 15 to 18 - Kyoto and Osaka exploration and surrounding
