Can please advice me which Rail pass should I purchase for Tokyo and surrounding area for day trips JR East Pass or Kento Areas Pass?

Hi there!

For Tokyo and the immediate surrounding area (within the JR-East network) I recommend the Kanto Area Pass. Be sure to calculate your costs however as depending on where you travel to a simple Suica prepaid card may turn out to be more cost effective.
