Good day! My family and I will be in Japan from 28th of January 2014 to 9th of February 2014. Planning to purchase 7-days JR Pass during our visit.
We will be travelling from Tokyo -> Kyoto -> Hiroshima -> Narita. Is ordinary pass sufficient or green pass is better for this visit?

Travelling with an ordinary pass is more than sufficient for most people. Ordinary class is better than 1st class in many countries and I think that you will be impressed. However Green Class is really putting the cherry on the cake. Consider a Green Pass is you wish to travel in more quiet en comfort. Yes Green Cars are available for the entire route. Note that there's a limited amount on the route Kyoto - Hiroshima, so I would recommend reserving your seats in advance, just in case.
