Hi there!
My husband and I will be in Japan for 11 days from late March to the 1st week of April and will be based in Tokyo. In between, we're planning to travel to Kansai where we'll be based in Osaka for 5 nights.
I mapped out a Kansai area itinerary and I was wondering if everything sounds good? We've already been to some of the more popular touristy sites in Kyoto and Kobe so this time around we want a relaxed sightseeing pace (while making the most of the JR Pass!). Here it is:
- Tokyo to Osaka via Shinkansen
- Osaka to Takarazuka / Takarazuka to Nara / Nara back to Osaka
- Osaka to Kyoto (Fushimi Inari, Kinkakuj) and back.
- (Day 4 will be devoted to Osaka sights - Natl. Museum of Art, Dotonburi, Shinbaishi)
- Osaka to Tokyo via Shinkansen
- Tokyo to Yokohama (Ramen Museum)
Any comments / suggestions / expert advice will be very much appreciated. :)
