Which one is better, JR Pass or Separate Tickets?

Hi!

I plan to visit Japan from 18th of December 2024 to 3 January 2025.

My plan is to go go/ do:
- Osaka (18 - 23 December) - exploring the city - Hiroshima & Miyajima One-day trip and then go back to Osaka (19 December) - From Osaka to Tokyo ( 23 December) - Tokyo (23 - 30 December) - exploring the city - Tokyo to. Hakone one-day trip and then go back to Tokyo (25 December) - From Tokyo to Sapporo (30 December) - Sapporo ( 30 December 2024 - 3 January 2025) - exploring the city

Need your advice on whether I better to buy JR Pass or just buy separate tickets?

Hi there,

Because you wouldn't be able to fully fit your train travel into a 7-day period, purchasing a JR Pass won't be a cost-effective option for you, so I'd suggest purchasing your tickets individually.
