Hello! I am traveling over Christmas for about 17 days. My friend and I will both have an over sized luggage. Will we need to purchase the 21 day green car pass? I did last time I was in Japan, but I am hoping to save some money this time. Does the blue car also have over sized luggage area, just like the green cars?

Yes, but when reserving/booking seats you'll have to choose specific seats that have space for oversized luggage.
