Hello, can I use the pass in Tokyo, to travel from the airport to Shinjuku and also around Tokyo, for example to Kamakura. Do I only need to show this pass or do I have to buy the tickets there for each individual subway or train? If I get the 7 day Pass, and I pay 319 Eur, is this all I need as a ticket ? I also want to take the train to Kyoto and from Kyoto to Osaka. Is this also included? And can I use public transport in Kyoto and Osaka with this ticket?
Thank you, Nina

Hello there,

Yes, the JR Pass includes the local JR Network in Tokyo. This includes lines such as the JR Yamanote line and JR Chuo line. You can also use the JR Pass to Kamakura and many other day trips from Tokyo.

Travel to Kyoto and Osaka is included, as well as local JR lines. Do keep in mind that other transport, such as the metro or non JR operated buses are not covered.

Kind regards,
Daniel
