Shirakawa-go coverage

Hi there,

Shirakawago and Gokayama will need additional transport that is not covered by the Japan Rail Pass, mainly the Nohi bus from Takayama or Kanazawa.

Thanks Daniel-San. I was under the same impression, but i found a bus tour while browsing the 'WEST JAPAN JR BUS COMPANY' https://www.nishinihonjrbus.co.jp/en/ it is listed under 'Sigthseeing bus' first entry.
I checked the JR Pass website and it Wert Japan JR Bus' is listed under the bus companies covered. So I understand why this is not covered?
In their website I cannot find any ways to confirm whether this bus tour is covered or not by the JR pass- that is why I asked here.
Can you confirm that this is not covered and I need to buy the Nohi bus tickets please? I am providing more details below

Good find, but unfortunately it is not included.

Typically buses classified as "local" are included. Buses that operate as highway bus or tour bus are not.
