Does JR pass support me to use like Asakusa line, Chiyoda line in Tokyo? Can I use any metro in Osaka as well?

Hi there,
The JR Pass will cover the JR Yamanote Line in Tokyo and the Osaka Loop Line in Osaka. Unfortunately any other lines are privately operated and so are not included in the JR Pass, and you'll have to purchase some kind of prepaid travelcard.
