Is Kyoto - Hiroshima - Kyoto possible in one day?
Can we avail JR pass for this? Please advise.

Hi there,
Yes, the JR Pass covers this route and you can visit Hiroshima as a day trip.
Using the JR Pass, take a train from Kyoto to Shin-Osaka, there transfer to the Sakura Shinkansen bound to Hiroshima.
I recommend a visit to the Hiroshima peace museum and memorial park.
