Japanese national buying JR Pass

Yes with the information described here I believe she should qualify.
The JR-Pass is a very discounted ticket and the JR has been very carefully checking Japanese nationals applying for one.

The Visa clearly has to state that she is allowed to live and work in the UK, as well as provide at least 2 official documents my local authorities that she has a permanent address abroad, think about utility/tax/payslips letters.

Recently JR as asked us to be extra careful, we are currently updating the website with this but for now
I would ask if you can send us a copy of the e-mailing them to so we can confirm them, you can blanket out any personal information / content.

I'm very sorry about the extra difficulty all of this brings but it is better to have everything double checked, rather then arriving in Japan and not being able to activate your JR-Pass.
