Hi Daniel-San!
Hope this message finds you well. :)
I'm going to Japan (arrival - April, 18th at 20:05 at NRT airport) and (departure - April, 28th at 21:35 from NRT airport as well).
The main idea is to visit:
18/Apr: Narita (1 night in a hotel near NRT airport)
19/Apr: Nagano (starting using JRPass - 7 days)
19/Apr: Toyama (day trip)
19/Apr: Kanazawa (day trip)
19/Apr: Shirakawa-Go (day trip)
20/Apr: Takayama (1 night)
21/Apr: Kyoto (2 nights)
23/Apr: Nara (day trip)
23/Apr: Osaka (2 nights)
25/Apr: Tokyo (3 nights) (end of use of JRPass - 7 days.
28/Apr: Tokyo x NRT x SFO.
Do you think that this itinerary order would work? Also I don't know if it's possible to visit (Nagano, Toyama, Kanazawa and Shirakawa-Go) in the same day? Or do you suggest sleeping in one of these cities?
Also I have a doubt regarding the transportation in Japan:
I'm going to stay in the country for 10 days. Within this itinerary, do you think it's possible to buy a 7 day regional pass Osaka-Tokio Hokuriku Pass (that is cheaper than the 7 day National Pass) instead of the National Pass?
Osaka-Tokio Hokuriku Pass: USD169,00
National Pass: USD351,00
Thanks in advance.
