I need to travel from Hiroshima to Fukuoka on October 27 but I see on HyperDia that all the schedules use the Shinkansen Nozomi but this is NOT covered by the Japan Rail Pass; Is there another train connection that does not use the Shinkansen Nozomi so I can use my Japan Rail Pass to travel to Fukuoka? Hi Peggy,
You can use the Sakura Shinkansen between Fukuoka - Hiroshima using the JR Pass. As well as any Kodama service. In Hyperdia, make sure that the option for Nozomi trains is [Off] when you search.
