Hi there, my husband and I have a 14 day JR Pass. We are staying at the Capitol Hotel in Tokyo. We want to go to the Gotemba Outlet Centre. Is our whole trip covered? How to we get there and back and do we need to book our seats?

Hi there,
Yes, you can use a combination of the Shinkansen and local JR lines to Gotemba station, then use a free shuttle bus from the station to the Gotemba Premium outlets.
The best train connections depend on what time you travel, I recommend going to a JR ticket window, tell the staff what time you want to travel and they'll find the best route for you and reserve your seats.
