Hi

I have the following itinerary, not sure should I be getting Kansai-Hiroshima Area Pass or other pass.
Here's my itinerary for your advice.
11 Apr: Kansai Airport - Kyoto
13 Apr: Kyoto - Osaka
14 Apr: Osaka - Hiroshima - Miyajima Island
15 Apr: Hiroshima - Osaka
18 Apr: Osaka - Rinku

As I will layover in Tokyo, I will be exiting the airport for a day tour in Toyko.
Not sure is regional pass a good choice for me or original JR pass?
Is the regional pass only available for 5 days? Should I be getting 2 or just get 1 and buy a single pass for the rest.

Hi there,

Yes, the pass is only available for 5 days. You should probably look into buying one Area Pass, and then looking at which train ticket you could buy individually based on their price.

Alternatively, buying a full JR Pass may suit you, as your trip is close to 7 days, and it also lets you travel to other unplanned destinations for daytrips etc.

Hope this helps!
