I wanted to find out if it is possible to extend my 14 day pass to a 21 day pass? I'm from the US and ordered my pass from there. I have the pass with me but I'm in Taiwan now and will be going to Japan in a few weeks. I won't be returning to the US before going to Japan. Is it possible to extend it when I go to Japan?

Hi there,
It's not possible to change the duration of a pass once it has been issued. You could however, get an additional 7-day JR Pass upon arrival in Japan.
