My wife and I will be traveling to Japan in early April 2024 and I would like to know which train pass we should get. Here is our itinerary:
Day 1-5: Tokyo
Day 5-8: Kyoto
Day 8-11: Osaka
Day 11-12: Kobe
Day 12-13: Hiroshima
Day 13: Tokyo to board flight
Also, how early do we receive the tickets if we purchase online? We're in USA.

A 14-Day JR Pass will cover all of your itinerary. It may be more cost-effective to purchase your tickets individually, but if you feel that a pass is better suited to you I would certainly recommend it.
If you're in the US, I would estimate delivery in about 3 working days, but I'd recommend leaving more time just in case.
