Hi. We are two (2) adults traveling to Tokyo and Sapporo this April 24 - May 3, 2024. Can the JR Pass cover the train ride from Tokyo to Sapporo? Is there a night schedule where we can sleep during the trip?

Hi there,
The JR Pass covers travel between Tokyo and Sapporo. Unfortunately there are no night trains that cover the journey, as it is predominantly on the Shinkansen and so it will be in regular hours, but there will be late night and early morning services if you are interested, just nothing overnight.
