I will be in Japan in the first half of Japan, I would like to use my JR Pass to travel to the above places in that order. When I tried to work out a route the Himeja and Hiroshima legs looked difficult. Can you advise, please?

My other question is When "Tokyo" appears in the JR timetable, which station is to be used?

Thank you.

Hi there!

I assume you mean the route from Himeji - Fukuoka and Fukuoka - Hiroshima. but a common mistake is that the actual station for Fukuoka is called Hakata. You can get some pretty strange routes if you search for Fukuoka.

As for Tokyo Station, the main Shinkansen station is called Tokyo station, from there you can take local trains into Tokyo itself (for instance to Shinjuku or Ueno).

I hope this helps!
Daniel
