We're planning to travel from Shirakawago to Toyama to visit Kurobe Gorge on 13 November then the Alpine Route (Murodo) on 14 November before going back to Nagoya on same day. Would you recommend this itinerary? I read there's a possibility that bus transfers to Murodo may be cancelled or delayed if there is bad weather.
Also, would JR Pass cover the other required transfers? Thank you.

Hi there,

You can never plan for really bad weather but outside of that I think it would work.

Could you tell me what other transfers you mean?

Kind regards,
Daniel

Thank you Daniel-san for your reply. Following is pur planned itinerary
11 Nov - Chubu airport to nagoya
12 Nov - Nagoya to Shirakawago (we plan to take gifu bus)
13 Nov - Shirakawago to Toyama (stay 2 nights to visit Kurobe Gorge and Alpine route up to Murodo)
15 Nov - Toyama to Nagoya
17 Nov - departure, Chubu airport
Will the Takayama-Hokuriku Area Tourist Pass be advisable? Is there a pass that can include the airport transfers? Thanks again!
