Can you confirm the latest train Kyoto to Osaka?
Also I am going Narita airport to Osaka via bullet train staying in Osaka for 3 days, having a day trip to Kyoto and then Osaka back to Tokyo centre. Is the JR pass worth it for me and my husband? As we looked and one way was around £180?

The trains can depend on what day you are travelling, I suggest using a routing app to check for your intended day of travel.
A 7-day JR Pass is worth it, for a return trip Tokyo - Kyoto - Osaka - Tokyo + additional side travel and airport transfer.
