Hi,
We are visiting Japan for three weeks, we were wondering if the three week JR pass would be relevant for our itinerary below;

  • Osaka 15th-17th
  • Kyoto 17th-19th
  • Myoko 19th-24th (snow)
  • Tokyo 25th-28th
  • Niseko 28th-4th/feb (snow)
  • Sapporo 4th/feb- 6th/feb

thanks

Hi there,

I don't think that the 21-day JR Pass would be a good match, however you can get very good value out of a 7-day Japan Rail Pass from the 24th - 28th. The routes Nagano (for Myoko Kogen) - Tokyo and Tokyo - Niseko will already cost significantly more than the pass, additionally you'll be able to use the pass on local trians around Tokyo and perhaps for a daytrip somewhere.

Hope this helps :)
Daniel
