Dear Daniel-san,
I am going to Japan 23.10 - 16.11 and I have posted my plan below:
Fukuoka 1 day
Hiroshima 2 day
Himeji half day
Osaka/Nara/Kyoto/Kobe 6 days
Kanazawa 1 day
Nikko 2 days
Tokyo 11 days, including one day trip to:
Magome
Nagano
Kawaguchi
Hakone
Kawagoe
And rest of the days I'll stay in Tokyo.

Based on the itinerary, I would like advice on how long to take the JRpass for and what would be the best pass choice for me.
Kind regards,
Kruszoe

Hi Kruszoe,

I think the best option would be to use a 14-day JR Pass, activate it for the day that you travel to Hiroshima, for all your travel to Tokyo and then try to fit in as many of the day trips as possible. Especially Magome, Nagano and Kawagoe would be very good options to cover with the Japan Rail Pass.

Kind regards,
Daniel
