Hi There,
we are planing to travel to Japan in April for 12 days 4 days in Tokyo and than to Kanazawa, Kyoto, Osaka and back to Tokyo.
Should I by the JR pass for 7 days or 14 days? Is it worth for the distances we have?
can I use the JR pass also in Tokyo city?
Thank you

Hi there,
A 7-day JR Pass would be the perfect fit, if you can do Kanazawa, Kyoto, Osaka and back to Tokyo, within the 7-day period. This would give you good savings, and cover travel between all these cities.
Then for the other days in Tokyo, you could use an IC card like Suica.
Kind regards,
Daniel
