We've already booked the tickets and just wondering if given the below itinerary would we benefit from the JR Pass:
Day 1: Tokyo
Day 2: Roam around Tokyo, Odaiba
Day 3: Takaosan
Day 4: Hakone
Day 5: Shinkansen to Osaka (homebase for kansai)
Day 6: Nara
Day 7: Kobe
Day 8: Kyoto
Day 9: Kansai airport

Fly in Tokyo, fly out Osaka

Hi there,
A JR Pass would not be cost effective for your trip. You could however, look at using a JR Kansai Area Pass. For your adventures around the Kansai area (Osaka, Nara, Kobe, Kyoto and to Kansai Airport).
