Hello,
We are a family of 4 and I would like to know if it makes sense to purchase the JR Pass for our trip in June. Our travel itinerary is below:

June 2 Narita Airport to Tokyo (Citadines Shinjuku Tokyo (Near Shinjuku))

June 4 Tokyo to Kyoto (RAKURO Kyoto by THE SHARE HOTELS )

June 7 Kyoto to Osaka (Karaska Hotel Grande Shin Osaka Tower)

June 10 Osaka to Hiroshima (Sheraton Grand Hiroshima Hotel )

June 12 Hiroshima to Kawaguchiko Station (251-4 Funatsu, Fujikawaguchiko Town, Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi Prefecture)

June 14 Kawaguchiko to Tokyo (MIMARU TOKYO GINZA EAST )

June 15 Tokyo to Narita Airport

Thank you.

Hi there,

Yes, a 14-day Japan Rail Pass will be a great option here, with good value compared to buying normal tickets. It will cover travel to Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima and back to the airport. Travel between all the cities is covered but you should be aware that some additional transport is needed to get to Kawaguchiko. This is a long trip, and will take most of the day, so be sure to plan it out well ahead of time.

Kind regards,
Daniel
