I wish to confirm whether JR Pass valid for my itinerary as below:
Tokyo - Lake Kawaguchiko
Lake Kawaguchiko - Osaka
Osaka - Tokyo
I have two child's age 3 and 5. Are they travel free?

Hi there!
You can use the JR Pass for all of your destinations. Please note that for Kawaguchiko the JR Pass will cover the vast majority of your travel to Otsuki. From Otsuki you'll need to transfer to the non-JR Fujikyu lines for the final leg up to Kawaguchiko itself (¥1100 each way).
Children under 6 travel for free on JR trains. Provided your children are under 6 at the time of travel they will travel for free :). We have a nice blog post on Children and infant travel on JR here.
