Hi.
Not sure what pass to get as I'm between a 7/14/21 and we have 6 days without trains in hakuba
1. Airport to Osaka
2. Osaka to Nagano/Hakuba
3. Hakuba
4. Hakuba
5. Hakuba
6. Hakuba
7. Hakuba
8. Hakuba
9. Hakuba to Tokyo
10. Tokyo sightseeing/local travel
11. Tokyo sightseeing/local travel
12. Tokyo sightseeing/local travel
13. Hakuba to Osaka
14. Osaka
15. Osaka to Kyoto to Osaka
16. Osaka to Kyoto to Osaka
17. Osaka local travel ... then Osaka to Airport

I'm thinking I need to get a 14 day, but only start it on Day 9. And then pay a few extra trips on the final days.

Hi there,

I like your post title :)

Yes, this is a hard one to match a pass to, and I think it'd be better to just buy the tickets as you travel. You'd have to do more travel for a JR Pass to really help you make savings.

Kind regards,
Daniel
