Hi, we are going for a short trip in Oct per below draft ITE, is the 7 day JR Pass best for us even if we need to train on Day 8 from Tokyo to Narita- and are these places being served by JR Pass
Arrival in Tokyo - Narita Day1
Train to Osaka - Day 1 - Day 4
- Kyoto - Nara - Kobe - Nagoya -Hiroshima -Kanazawa Day 5-8 Tokyo
-Sengen Park or any best places to view Mt Fuji -Nintendo

Hi there,

Yes, a 7-day Japan Rail Pass would be a very good cost saver here! You can use the pass to visit all these places. I guess my main concern would be that you'll be on a busy trip and sometimes it can be nicer to pace things a bit slower.

As for Mt. Fuji, you could plan on a stopover between Tokyo - Osaka for a few hours. Stations like Odawara, Atami and Mishima all make for good Fuji views.
