Hi,
I'm having trouble deciding on our itinerary and the JR pass i will need.
We are a group of four adults, two boys below 6, and one infant.
11 Nov - arrive Narita at 7am, train to Osaka, c/in hotel, sightsee in Osaka
12 Nov - Universal Studio (do you think this is a good idea for my group?)
13 Nov - Train to Kyoto, c/in hotel, tour Kyoto
14 Nov - Day-tour in Kyoto
15 Nov - Morning train to Tokyo. c/in at Shinjuku, explore Harajuku
16 Nov - Disney Land
17 Nov - Disney Sea
18-21Nov - sightsee and shopping around Tokyo
22 Nov - depart for Singapore from Narita airport, 10am flight.
-Is the itinerary suitable for our group? I'm thinking the kids would not be too keen on too intense sightseeing and too much commuting.
-Kyoto or Osaka first?
-Is Universal Studio worth going for our group?
-should we stay one extra day in Osaka, considering we do visit Universal Studio.
-I'm considering joining the 1-day-tour for sightseeing at kyoto and osaka. so it is easier to commute with for our group with the kids. what do you think? we found some deals on Japanican.com
-Is it nice to visit Mt.Fuji in November? we'll probably just visit up to the lake. should we stay one night?
-Stay in Shinjuku or Shibuya in Tokyo?
-Should we do Disney first upon arrival in Narita before Osaka, last before departing home, or as is before exploring Tokyo?
-Should we get the JR Pass? 7 or 14 days? Which class? What kind of saving are we looking at, assuming we visit all the major attractions in each city?
Thank you for your time and suggestions.
