Will I be in time to catch the last train from Kansai Airport?

There will be plenty of options to travel into Osaka, be it by JR or Nankai. There are also night buses going to Osaka later on.

I recommend using the Nankai to travel to Namba station. Nipponbashi is not too far from there and you could even walk it but I would suggest taking a taxi from there, as it will be dark and you'll have luggage and family to think about.

Not sure if I can ask about the Takayama Hokuriku pass? I am planning to travel from Kanazawa to Kansai airport on our last day by using this this pass. It is possible right but we cannot reserve any seats? I am worry then we may not be able to get a seat on the train. We will need to reach the airport around 9pm. Is there a need to reserve the seats? Can we top up to reserve the seats?

Where did you read that its not possible to make reservations?

Have a look at the official page:

Here you'll see that only on the Haruka Express is it not possible to make reservations. All limited express trains can be reserved. This means you can reserve Kanazawa - (Shin-) Osaka but from there you'll have to use a non-reserved seat/

I don't think so. Otherwise you can always use the JR rapid airport service to Kansai Airport.
