I, my wife and my niece plan to visit Japan (Tokyo & Kyoto) in end Sept early October. I want to know the weather at this time. We want to avoid cold weather, snow or rains. Also as tourists we prefer days with extended sunlight (atleast 10 hours). Please advice if end-September early October fits into this requirement or please advice alternate months. Thanks.
Weather
Hi there,
Generally September - October and April - May are the best periods to visit Japan. It's always impossible to predict the weather exactly but I think that you should be fine.
Daniel-san - Thanks very much. But can you please clarify if it will be cold in September - October ( less than 15 degrees) or rainy (not occasional showers but long spells of rains). Thanks.
Hi again!
Sorry it's just hard to say. Japan is a very long country (almost 3000km long) and the weather differs per place.
