Hi! I am writing to ask a question of what would be the best solution for my sister who recently moved to Japan for school. She lives in Ichikawa and the school she goes to is in Waseda. Is there any best discounted train tickets out there I could purchase and send her? Or what do you suggest. Please help

Hi there,
Students unfortunately do not qualify for the JR Pass, the best thing for communing it to buy a weeky, monthly or quarterly commuter pass.
These can be purchased directly at the station but you have to bring a passport and registration card.
Hope this helps,
Daniel
