Hi, we are coming to Tokyo for the RWC and have booked to stay at the Capitol Hotel Tokyo, but it looks to be an hour by train from the stadium.
We are thinking of changing hotels to somewhere in Shinjuku so we are closer to tourist areas and the station to get out to the rugby games at the Tokyo Stadium in Chofu.... how many transfers would we need to make and is this a good choice please?

Hi there,
Shinjuku and Tokyo station have a direct train connection, so no transfers needed and Tokyo Stadium is only 1 transfer away on the Seibu line from Shinjuku, so that is easy too :)
Hope this helps,
Daniel
