i am travel to japan in this literary:
we arrive kansai int airport 7.40 pm and plan to stay at kyoto city center for one night. Next day we will go kinosaki onsen for one day and after that we go to osaka straightaway for three days.
do i need to buy JR pass?
what is your recommendation for my transportation?

Hi Lim,
All your travel is within the Kansai Area, which is relatively cheap to travel in. There for a JR Pass would not help you make savings. However you could look at a local pass, like a JR Kansai Wide Pass.
