Kate Bus - Kansai Airport to Universal City Hotel

Hi there

I'm planning to either take a Kate Bus from Kansai International Airport to Universal Port Hotel in Universal City Station on my arrival on 10 Dec afternoon or my departure on 17 Dec morning.

I need to know if I can make any advance booking and to secure a seat as there will be 5 of us traveling with young kids and 2 big luggages & 2 hand luggages.

Otherwise, would appreciate if you could advise other bus companies which can prebook the seat & make advance booking.

Hi there!

Tickets for the Kate bus to Universal City are only available for purchase at Kansai Airport.

You do not need to make a reservation for this route, however space is on a first come first serve basis. Here is the timetable for the [Kate bus from Kansai to Universal City]. As you can see there is 1 bus every hour so you while you may have to wait, it shouldn't be too long.

For more information on how to buy tickets, please check here. You can also contact the Kate bus English language information line for further clarification by calling +81 (0) 72-461-1374. Note that this line is available in English between 9am-6pm JST on weekdays only.

As an alternative, you could consider the train to Universal City. Here is a sample itinerary for you.
