Japan trip (28 March - 10 April)

Hi, I would be travelling to Japan from 28 March 2015 (Sat) to 10 April (Fri). I am researching about travelling around Japan. Below is my rough itinerary.

28-30 March: Osaka
31 March - 1 April: Kyoto
2 April: Nara
2 April: (not decided yet)
3-10 April: Tokyo and surrounding areas

Due to the extensive railways, I am a little confused and hope I can get some help here about travelling within city and inter-cities. I would like to ask if the JR Rail Pass can cover my travelling around the Kansai area and also from Osaka to Tokyo.

I also welcome suggestions to my rough itinerary!

Hi Peck Hong,

Yes the JR Pass covers travel around Kansai and from Osaka to Tokyo. Do keep in mind that travel cost within Kansai is low and looking at your itinerary I'd advise buying normal tickets for now. This could however change depending what you plan to do on April 2nd and possible dayt trips from Tokyo.
