Hello,
We would like to go to the Kobe Harbor land from Nara. Which Kobe station would be best for taking the JR from Nara?
Also we are going to Osaka (the dotoburi area) from Kyoto. We are not sure which station to get off would be best.

To go to Dotonbori, you can get down at Namba station as I presume you will be using JR pass? Walk down the Namba walk and exit B22. From there walk to Dotonbori around 5mins. I used google map to navigate while walking and it helps alot ^^

The station I would travel to with the JR Pass is JR Namba, it's about 10 min on foot from there to Dotonbori. The walk is also very nice to make, as you'll see many interesting shows and landmarks.
To travel to Kyoto with the JR Pass, go to Osaka station (also known as Umeda). Here direct trains run to Kyoto in less than 30 minutes.

Which Kobe station would be best for taking the JR from Nara? We plan to go to the Kobe harbor land area where the Kobe Meriken Park Oriental hotel is located.

Hi Frank,
I think that you'll want to travel to Sannomiya station (this is the real center station of Kobe). There a free shuttle service to your hotel can be found.
