How to buy JR passes if Fedex does not deliver to that country?

Hi there!

I am planing on going to Japan on August 21st. I will come from Taipei, Taiwan and my Mother will join me from Tehran, Iran. But Iran in not listed as the countries in the Middle east that Fedex delivers to! My mother has her ticket for August 20th ( one day earlier than me). How can I obtain a JR pass for her?

Hi there,

I'm very sorry that we can't dispatch to Iran currently. As an alternative, you could either:

  1. Opt to receive your mothers JR Pass on her behalf and give it to her once you get to Japan
  2. Choose to have her JR Pass delivered to her place of residence in Japan
