Me and my friends have plan to visit Tokyo-Kyoto-Osaka this mid May.
We also have plan to do a day trip to Tateyama Kurobe Alpen Route from Tokyo. Then we'll go to Kyoto from Tokyo on the other day.
I know many people don't recommend a one day trip from Tokyo to Tateyama, but since we have some issues, we have to stay in Tokyo :)
We're considering to buy Hokuriku Arch Pass. Is this pass covers these all routes?

Hi there,
Yes, it does cover Tokyo-Kyoto-Osaka but only if you travel via the Hokuriku Arch. The much faster Tokaido Shinkansen are not included.

May 18: Kawaguchiko
May 19: Day trip to Tateyama Kurobe Alpen Route from Tokyo.
Hokuriku Shinkansen: Tokyo-Toyama-Tateyama Kurobe Alpen Route-Shinano Omachi-Tokyo.
Gotta start very early in the morning :)
May 20: Bound for Kyoto from Tokyo (Hokuriku Shinkansen: Tokyo-Kanazawa. Thunderbird: Kanazawa-Kyoto)
May 21: Kyoto
May 22: Kyoto
May 23: Kyoto, Bound for Osaka (May we use shinkansen Kodama with this Hokuriku Arch Pass?)
May 24: Universal Studio Osaka
May 25: Kansai International Airport (Limited Express Haruka non reserved seat?)
and When is the best time I activate my Hokuriku Arch pass, since it has 7 continuous days? :)

I'm thinking of using the pass on 7 last days..
will use suica/pasmo to navigate Tokyo for the first 3 days :)

The best value I think would be to start using it from day 19 to day 25. However before you purchase the Hokuriku Arch pass, have a look at how much normal tickets would cost.
I have the feeling that it may be cheaper to simply buy normal tickets. Since you'll only travel one way.

I've already checked Hyperdia.. yes I'll only travel one way..
If I buy this pass maybe I'll be using Hokuriku shinkansen for 2 days..
day 1: from Tokyo (I stay in Roppongi) to Toyama (on hyperdia total cost around 12.720 yen)
and Nagano to Tokyo (total cost around 10.000 yen)
day 2: Tokyo to Osaka (on hyperdia total cost around 13250)
and I still can use the pass for inner city JR, right?
What do you think? Or do you have any suggestion? :)

You are right about the pricing, its not a bit difference but it may be nice to have the pass for the extra flexibility and not having to worry about buying tickets every time you travel.
