Hello,
I like to visit Hiroshima during my stay in Osaka. Is it too rush if I take the bullet train from Osaka in the morning and return in the evening? I only visit the Atomic bomb Dome and the Itsukushima Shrine. How long does it take from Osaka to Hiroshima and what time is the last train to go back to Osaka from Hiroshima?
Also what is the fare from Osaka to Hiroshima by bullet train?

Hi, yes you can do it as a day trip if you start early. You can in fact see more than just the museum and Itsukushima Shrine -- and you should. In Hiroshima City the Shukkeien Garden is very beautiful and doesn't take long to see. The Itsukushima Shrine doesn't take long either, and you should not miss seeing the Daishoin Temple, which is also a must-see place.
