hi, will like to ask if it is worth to get a kansai wide area pass for the below itinerary

25: kansai airport to bentencho station.
26&27: travel inside osaka
28: bentencho station to kyoto
29&30: in kyoto

for the above itinerary, will it be better to buy the pass or just buy 1 way tickets?
kindly advise

Hi there,

Your travel won't cost a lot buying normal tickets. My advice would be to buy an ICOCA card locally and just travel like that.

An ICOCA card is an IC card used for automatic payments.

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Hi again :)

You can take the Shinkansen to Hakone (Odawara station), travel within Hakone is not covered by the JR Pass.

alright. last question:

30th dec: kyoto to hakuba
1st jan: hakuba to tokyo
5th jan: tokyo to osaka

does the above itinerary cost cheaper if i get a 7 day jr pass?
greatly appreciate your advice
