Hello
First post please be nice! We are going to travel to Japan in Jan and we have about 10 days of travel. We are arriving in Narita. We were thinking of going to Kyoto after we land and starting in the south. My concern is that when coming back from the south to Tokyo if we got the 7 day pass how we can get around in Tokyo for a the last remaining days. And the reason why we want to end in tokyo is because we want to go to tokyo disney.

so is it best to get 7 days or 14 days?

Hi there,

Don't worry we are always nice :)

Getting a 7 day JR Pass for travel to Kyoto and possible elsewhere in the south, is a great idea. The JR Pass works best on longer distances.

For the last days in Tokyo, I would stick with buying normal tickets or use an IC card like suica.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
