5D Japan Travel

Hi. I am now currently planning my itinerary for my 5D 5N travel to Japan. This is my first time visiting Japan. I would like to know if my itinerary is realistic and achievable. If no, I would appreciate if someone would recommend any adjustment in my itinerary.
Day 0 - Arrival (evening) at KIX airport. Planning to stay in Osaka
Day 1 - Nara (stay in Kyoto)
Day 2 - Kyoto (highlight Lantern Festival) (stay in Kyoto)
Day 3 - Tokyo (stay in Tokyo)
Day 4 - Osaka (stay in Osaka)
Day 5 - Osaka (Departure, evening)

Also, I would like to know if it is advisable to avail JR pass for my 5D of exploring Japan. I have seen that the minimum pass is 7days? Thank you.

Hi there,

I recommend using the 7-day Japan Rail Pass for your trip. A return ticket Tokyo - Kyoto/Osaka is about the same price as the pass itself. Basically, any additional travel would be free :)
