Please let me know if it's worth to get a 7 - day JR Pass. We (group of 6) will be arriving Narita, then leaving from Kansai airport
Day 1 - Narita to Tokyo & spend 5 days in Tokyo
Day 6 - Tokyo to Kyoto
Day 7 - Kyoto to Kansai airport.

Hi there,
The JR-Pass may not be the best option for this itinerary. With the pass you can make some great savings if you plan to do some long distance travel, in general it is the same price as a return Tokyo Kyoto. It will be more economic to simply buy the tickets are you only travel one way Tokyo --> Kyoto.
