Will 7-day JR Pass pay off

I will be staying 8 days in Japan with the following plan
Day 1 - Arriving Kansai to Osaka City
Day 2 - Osaka - Nara - Osaka, 1-day-trip
Day 3 - Osaka - Tokyo
Day 4 in Tokyo
Day 5 - Tokyo - Kyoto
Day 6 - in Kyoto
Day 7 - Kyoto - Osaka
Day 8 - Osaka City - Kansai

Would I be able to cover it with JR Pass 7-Day without buying much separate extra tickets, or would it be more reasonable to stay with the tickets?

Greetings
Karolina

Hi Karolina,

Yes the 7-Day JR Pass will be a good option for the above itinerary.
A 7-Day JR Pass is roughly the same cost as a return Osaka/Kyoto Tokyo.
You will be sure to make some nice savings with all the additional travel you plan to do :)

You can also use the JR-Pass on local JR lines in both Osaka and Tokyo.

Enjoy the trip!
