where can you activate the jr pass? i will be flying into hiroshima from south korea, i assume i am fine to activate the pass in hiroshima when i leave there for kyoto? thanks for the help

Yes! You can activate the JR Pass at Hiroshima Station between 5:20-23:00 and get on the Shinkansen to Kyoto right away!
