Hi there,

Wondering what pass will be the most cost effective for our Japan trip in September?

  • Arrive Narita Airport travel to Tokyo (12th)
  • Travel Tokyo to Kyoto - stay in Kyoto 5 nights (13th - 18th) - including day trip to Nara in here
  • Travel Kyoto to Osaka - stay in Osaka 5 nights (18th - 23rd) - including day trips to Hiroshima & Universal Studios in here
  • Travel Osaka to Kobe - stay 2 nights (23rd - 25th)
  • Travel Kobe to Tokyo - stay in Tokyo 6 nights (25th - 1st)
  • Travel Tokyo to Narita Airport (1st Oct)

Hi there,

For your itinerary it is likely to be more cost-effective to purchase your tickets individually. However, the JR Pass will cover all of your itinerary and so it is still an option worth looking into if you feel that a pass is better suited for you.
