Hi,
I will go to Nagoya and stay at Takayama (2 days), kanazawa (2 days) and back to Nagoya.
Do you think is it worth to buy a JR pass ? If yes, what kind of JR pass you suggest to buy ?

Hi there,
You would have the following travel expanses:
Nagoya - Takayama ¥ 5,870
Takayama - Kanazawa ¥ 4,180
Kanazawa - Nagoya ¥ 7,800
For a total of ¥ 17,850.
This is not a very high amount for train travel in Japan, so it would be best to just buy tickets as you travel.
